The controversy surrounding the final funeral rites of late highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, known as Daddy Lumba, has taken a dramatic spiritual turn.
Prophet Kumchacha, a well-known Ghanaian preacher, has issued a grim warning, stating that burying the musician on December 13, 2025, as planned, will result in disaster.
On November 22, 2025, Prophet Kumchacha made the shocking disclosure on UTV’s United Showbiz. The funeral date has already been called into question due to ongoing legal and family problems.
The prophet described a troubling vision in which he claimed to have seen the late singer at least twice in his sleep.
“Daddy Lumba’s spirit is depressed as I speak, and I have had multiple dreams,” Kumchacha asserted. “He is crying and in shackles in the spiritual world.”
The prophet claimed to have “foreseen a disaster from the spiritual realm” and begged for the burial date to be altered based on this alleged spiritual contact.
Kumchacha cautioned that because of the spiritual circumstances involved, carrying out the burial on the selected date would have dire consequences that would affect not just the family but also the entire planet.
He stressed: “Tragic events will occur both spiritually and physically if they attempt to bury him on December 13. The funeral needs to be rescheduled until the sixth month of the next year [June 2026].”
