Reports circulating on the internet indicate that American heavyweight boxer, Deontay Wilder was rushed to the hospital after his vicious defeat to Tyson Fury in Las Vegas.
In the trilogy fight on October 9, Deontay was knocked down three times which forced the referee, Russell Mora to stop the fight the third time in the 11th round.
Tyson Fury who has retained his WBC title for two consecutive times defeated Wilder drastically and Wilder will now undergo the necessary examination at the hospital.
However, according to Wilder’s manager, Wilder will not be kept in the hospital overnight, and that he is in good health.
Boxing journalist Dan Rafael also tweeted on his Twitter page saying;‘Was texting with Wilder’s manager Shelly Finkel.
‘Said Deontay is OK and won’t be staying overnight at the hospital.’

‘I did my best, but it wasn’t good enough tonight,’ he said. ‘I’m not sure what happened. I know that in training he did certain things, and I also knew that he didn’t come in at 277 pounds to be a ballet dancer.
‘He came to lean on me, try to rough me up and he succeeded.’
