Evangelist Diana Asamoah’s ex-manager has given his permission for her to continue performing songs recorded for the company Frimprince Music Production.
The Former Manager of Ghanaian Gospel Musician Diana Asamoah has revealed that the contract termination letter sent to the artiste was to test her in order to see if she has shown any kind of remorse for the wrongs she has been doing in breach of the contractual agreement both had.
Speaking to Ike de Unpredictable on “Angel Drive”, Mr. Anane Frimpong popularly known as Frimprince said, “I served her with the letter on the 4th of August and was expecting that she would have some kind of remorse or maybe something good will come out. I gave her three weeks and after three weeks, she responded very nicely and thanked me and sent me a copy”.
In a letter confirming their separation, the signee begged her former manager Anane Frimpong, also known as Frimprince, to allow her continue performing.
Frimprince said in a paragraph in their termination letter dated August 4, 2022 that they would retain full ownership of any and all works created throughout the life of the agreement.
They include ‘Wo Na Mani Agyina Wo’, ‘Mabowodin’, ‘Akoko Abon’, ‘Madansidie’, ‘Pentecost Gya’, ‘Momomme’, ‘Wo Damu Fua’, ‘Tetelesta’ and ‘Pentecost Soree’.
Among other things, Diana Asamoah is “restricted from referring to Mr Anane Frimpong as your Executive Producer. You will no longer have access to any of our digital platforms.”
The company is also taking ownership of the singer’s verified Facebook page ‘The Evangelist Diana Asamoah’.
Diana Asamoah is also “restricted from using Frimprince logo on any of your new songs.”
However, speaking on Angel FM Kumasi in an interview, Frimprince noted that he has accepted a plea from Diana Asamoah to perform songs she recorded with the company.
“She accepted all the claims I made, the only one she didn’t agree with was me banning her from performing her music. But even with that, I have no problem with it. That is cool. I won’t cease her from performing her songs, especially the latest one she did with Dada KD”, Frimprince told Ike de Unpredictable on Angel Drive.
