Entertainment expert Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo asserted on UTV’s United Showbiz on 19th October that the fatal East Legon incident was not merely an ordinary accident, but a consequence of negligence.
He thinks that the deaths of the two young women should be considered murder or manslaughter instead of merely an accident.
Arnold held the parents responsible for the behaviour of the 16-year-old boy in the accident. He mentioned that Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako and his wife, the parents of the boy, should take responsibility for the incident.
“It’s hard to imagine that two kids were trapped in the burning car. It’s heartbreaking, and you can only think about the pain their parents must be feeling,” Arnold said. “This tragedy could change their parents forever. They couldn’t even be with their children in their last moments to comfort them.”
