Former Burniton Music Group signee, Kelvyn Boy has penned a glowing tribute to the late Ebony Reigns describing her a legend.
The tragic death of Ebony Reigns happened as a result of a fatal accident on her way back from Sunyani after visiting her mother.
The four years anniversary since Ebony passed away was celebrated yesterday and Kelvyn Boy mourn her by saying she was a legend and created a path for the female musicians but her death came early.
Kelvyn Boy known in private life as Kelvin Bown during an interview on Showbiz Now on Joy Prime expressed sadness over the fact that Ebony’s demise was too sudden, however, the short time she spent whilst alive made a significant impact on the music industry.
He said, “it was too early for her to leave us but all the same we’re still here and we give thanks to God.”
“She’s a legend actually. She created a path and she will always be remembered for that – that ‘bad girl’ thing that you know. Even the name is like a path on its own.”
“Honestly, it’s very sad, especially for someone like that. She started a path that a lot of young acts were following. You can point to a lot of acts that one can boldly say the style is an Ebony style,”
