Ghanaian fashion designer and actor, Elikem Kumordzi also known as Elikem the Tailor has taken a swipe at his colleague, Abrantie the Gentleman on social media.
Elikem Kumordzi subtly accused Abrantie the Gentleman of copying his style on the runway following the just-ended Rhythmz on the Runway show in Accra.
The 2022 Rhythms on Da Runway was held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
In a recent post be Elikem on his verified Instagram page, he claimed he is the one who first introduced the playing of traditional drums and showcasing culture at their shows.
He also underscored that inspired others to bring their children on stage. He bragged that he is living in the future and urged all to continue to be the first and not the best and push our creative abilities through the roof.
This comes after Abrantie The Gentleman ended his session on the just-ended Runway at Rhythms On The Runway with his child.
You would recall that Elikem brought his child on the Runway at Glitz Fashion Week 2022, hence he his claiming some sort of bragging rights.
Since its inception in 2010, Rhythms on Da Runway has served as a platform to showcase the best of contemporary African fashion and other art forms.
Themed the Green Edition, this year’s event (the 10th edition) was aimed at creating awareness of the environment and sustainable fashion.
There were performances by MzVee, Eno Barony, Victor AD, Empress Gifty, Lasmid, Abiana, Epixode, Shatta Wale and Kuami Eugene.
Special awards were given to former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, and Nathaniel Attoh.
