EVERYTIME I VISIT EX PRESIDENT KUFUOR, I SEE A CROWD WAITING IN QUEUE TO SEE HIM – Arch. Duncan-Williams

The clergyman said that he speaks with the former president on a regular basis and that, in spite of his notoriety, he is approachable to anyone who wants to get in touch with him.

He mentioned that on his recent travels to Kufuor’s home, he saw a large number of people waiting in line to meet him.

People are drawn to the former president because of his humanism and respect for everyone, regardless of social status, Duncan-Williams noted.

“I’ve been acquainted with President Kufuor during his presidency, prior to it, and following it. I make it a point to see him occasionally. Since he left office, I’ve continued to check on him, and there’s always a crowd waiting in queue to see him.

“They’re not there seeking wealth or influence; they’re drawn by his humanity. His true wealth lies in his humanity and his ability to connect with others,” he said while preaching to his congregation.

In order to preserve importance in life, the cleric also advised everyone to foster positive relationships with others, irrespective of income or status.
