The family of the late Tetteh Quarshie has threatened to sue popular Ghanaian actress, Matilda Asare over her new movie.
Matilda Asare is set to release her latest movie ‘Heroes of Africa’ a movie that takes Ghanaians a walk into Ghana’s history and heritage through drama as it tells the story about the life of celebrated hero and legend the late Tetteh Quarshie.
The movie executively produced by Zion Train Productions and owned by Matilda Asare is based on a true life story about cocoa and it will be premiered at Silverbird Cinema’s as part of the celebration of the national chocolate day.
However, new information reaching NKONKONSA.com indicates that the family of the late Tetteh Quarshie who was a pioneer and stalwart in the cocoa business several decades ago have decided to take legal action against Matilda Asare for not seeking consent before incorporating his name in the movie as the movie centers on him.
