This occurred shortly after Fella’s team, led by Richie, commented on the incident and explained the situation.
As per a statement released by Fella Makafui’s management, the public is urged to ignore any misunderstandings as the actress was not arrested but invited.
The statement also responded to the accusations of selling fake medicines, stating that Fella is not implicated in any illegal activities, so the accusations are false, and there were no further developments following their request to visit the police station.
She reassured fans to remain dedicated, stating that her intention was to be transparent and rebuild trust with her supporters and the public.
“Please disregard the reports about Actress Fella Makafui’s arrest. She was invited yesterday and departed soon after respectfully honouring the invitation.
“She shared all necessary information about the issue to assist the investigation and presented her license from the Ghana Traditional Medicine Practice along with details of her FDA-registered products.
“Additionally, she provided information on the few products still undergoing the registration process.
“For the avoidance of doubt, please note that there was no arrest or bail regarding this subject matter.
“We would like to reassure her many fans to remain calm and continue praying for her as she navigates these challenges. Trust that God is in control.
This contradicts the police report of Fella’s arrest for counterfeit products, following the statement from Pharmacy Council Ghana.
In the meantime, Fella Makafui is presently taking a break from social media following her announcement that she is signing out from all her accounts.
This led to the management releasing the statement regarding the Fella brand.
