Former Black Stars midfielder Rabiu Mohammed has started a new path, swapping the demands of professional football for the calmness of farming.
The 35-year-old, widely recognized for his aggressive style in midfield, has completely shifted to cocoa farming after leaving the sport.
Rabiu, who was instrumental in Ghana’s landmark FIFA U-20 World Cup victory in 2009, now focuses his efforts on farming the land.
In a video shared on social media and viewed by YEN.com.gh, the former Liberty Professionals defender is shown carefully trimming trees on his large cocoa farm.
Wearing complete farming attire, he seems completely engaged in his newly discovered enthusiasm.
Reports suggest that Mohammed possesses a considerable expanse of farmland in Ghana, currently utilized for extensive farming.
In addition to ensuring his own income, his enterprise creates job opportunities for numerous local residents.
