Ghanaian celebrities have won the best red carpet looks over their Nigerian counterparts at two separate movie premieres over the weekend in London.

Ghanaian award winning film maker Shirley Frimpong Manso and her Sparrow Production crew premiered their latest two cast movie “Rebecca” at the Odeon Greenwich Cinema in London on Friday January 22, 2016 and celebs who graced the red carpet includes; Nigerian Actor Joseph Benjamin, Shirley Frimpong Manso, Joselyn Dumas, Yvonne Okoro, Lexis Bill, TV Presenter Sandra Ankobiah among others.

Just a day after the ‘Rebecca’ premiere, sensational Nigerian movie ‘Fifty The Movie’ was also premiered in London as well and celebrities who graced the red carpet included: Dakore Egbuson, Omoni Oboli, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Mo Abudu, Biyi Bandele, Wale Ojo among others.

The OFFICIAL GHANA CELEBRITY FASHION REVIEW PANEL decided to scrutinize celebs and their red carpet appearance from both events from pictures available and after several deliberations, the top 3 best dressed from both events were shortlisted.

Yvonne Okoro, Sandra Ankobiah and Shirley Frimpong Manso made it as the top 3 BEST DRESSED CELEBS at the ‘Rebecca’ premiere and Omoni Oboli, Mo Abudu and Dakore Egbuson were also shortlisted as the top 3 BEST DRESSED at the ‘Fifty The Movie’ premiere.

Out of the six strong African female celebs, the panel have come to a conclusion that the Ghanaian ladies had an edge over the Nigerians as far as the red carpet appearance at both events are concerned.

Sandra Ankobiah took the lead with 9.75 points, followed by Yvonne Okoro with 9.7 points, Shirley Frimpong Manso 9.7 points. From the “Fifty The Movie” Nollywood stars Dakore Egbuson was awarded  9.3 points Nse Ikpe-Etim had 9.2 points and beautiful Mo Abudu was awarded 3 star general recognition points.
