Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin has conceded that Ghana cannot be transformed in merely four years.
Nonetheless, the National Democratic Congress and its representatives must work to guarantee that the finest outcomes are achieved for the citizens of Ghana.
In his eyes, the citizens of Ghana have demonstrated their affection for the political party through their resounding support, and it is now the moment for the party to fulfill their commitment to change for the people.
Alban Sumana Bagbin announced this while addressing the NDC Professionals Forum.
“The absolute majority we now possess in the next parliament does not merely reflects the confidence in the Ghanaian people in the party but it underscores their yearning for change, for progress and their trust in the party’s promise to reset Ghana, and Ghana we must reset.
We cannot just do that in four years and it behoves on all of us and what we say and what we do. As we transition into this new chapter, I urge the Pro Forum to remain an integral force within the incoming NDC government.
Your insights, professionalism, dedication, and ability to mobilize support to reset Ghana will be critical as we work together to breathe new life into our economy, governance, our institutions particularly the Judiciary very very important for you to play whether you are given space or not go for that space,” he said.
