A popular Ghanaian TikToker identified as Hayford Boateng, popularly known as GH Kobby, is currently the main suspect in a murder case involving his girlfriend.
GH Kobby allegedly discharged a firearm that fatally struck the victim, Yaa baby—believed to be his girlfriend—in the left arm and upper chest. The incident reportedly occurred at a local eatery at a village near Yeji
Police have currently arrested three young men in connection with the fatal shooting of a young woman in Seka, a village near Yeji in the Pru East District of the Bono East Region.
According to eyewitness accounts, Yaababy was rushed to St Martin’s Hospital in Yeji, where she was pronounced dead.
The boyfriend reportedly GH Kobby claims the shooting was accidental. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
The late Yaa Baby’s mother has confirmed her age in an interview that she was 21 years old.
Yaa Baby is not known to have had a child, and she was the only biological child of her mother. Apart from her mother, she also left behind her grandparents.
The deceased is reported to have dated GH Kobby for a short while. According to her friend, who identified herself as Richlove, Yaa Baby and GH Kobby have been together for just about six months.
