Popular Ghanaian stand-up comedian and satirist, Kweku Sintim Misa simply known as KSM has admonished the ruling government led by President Nana Akufo Addo to use the monies they are requesting and soliciting from Ghanaians for the building and completion of the National Cathedral to support the Health Sector.
The Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori Atta said during his delivery of the Mid-year review in Parliament on Thursday, July 29 said that government will need to outsource funds to be able to fully complete the building of the national cathedral and asked Ghanaians to donate GH100 cedis to the building project.
Sharing his thought on this, KSM asserted that God did not say he is homeless and needs a house but there are people who don’t have access to proper health care so the funds obtained from the donations should be directed to the heath sector
According to him it’s a misplaced priority as the agenda to build a National Cathedral isn’t only worrying hence should have a second look at the move.
Taking to his Twitter page on Instagram he wrote, “Jesus said; “In my father’s house, there are many MANSIONS”. God is not HOMELESS. Invest in improving the Health sector, not CATHEDRALS”
