Ghanaian reggae/afrobeat artist and songwriter Rocky Dawuni has received honorary recognition from the prestigious Grammy Awards Academy.
On May 10, 2025, the four-time Grammy nominee shared on X (formerly Twitter) a certificate he received from the Academy for his nomination in the 67th edition of the Grammy Awards.
Rocky Dawuni expressed his excitement, revealing that the certificate acknowledges his participation in the nomination of his song “Rise” for Best Global Music Performance.
“I just landed in Los Angeles and received this Grammy certificate for #Rise in the mail. ‘Rise’ was nominated for ‘Best Global Music Performance’ at the 67th Grammy Awards,” he shared.
The artist behind the hit song “Beautiful People” also extended gratitude to his dedicated team, especially the producers and musicians, for their contributions in making the recognition possible.
“Blessings and love to all the musicians, producers, and incredible team who made it possible!” he added.
