GREGORY AFOKO GRANTED BAIL AFTER ALMOST 10 YEARS IN ADAMS MAHAMA’S MURDER CASE

The High Court has provided bail to Gregory Afoko, who faces allegations of collaborating with the convicted Asabke Alangdi to kill the former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Upper East Regional Chairman, Adams Mahama.

The court approved bail for Afoko set at GH¢500,000, requiring two sureties, one of whom must be verified.

Afoko faced allegations of colluding with Asabke Alangdi, who is now convicted, in the acid attack from 2015 that resulted in Mahama’s death.

His bail follows several unsuccessful tries throughout the years.
