According to the most recent survey by Global Info Analysis, Haruna Iddrisu, the MP for Tamale South, has become the clear favorite to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) into the general elections in 2028.
Haruna Iddrisu is ranked higher than other leading candidates in the September survey, indicating that he has a sizable advantage among NDC supporters and in important swing areas.
Haruna Iddrisu received 30% of the vote in the first multi-candidate contest, followed by Finance.
Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson with 18% and NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia with 24%.
