Embittered residents of Abesim Alaska a suburb of Sunyani, the capital city of the Bono Region have been thrown into a state of shock following the arrest of a serial killer

28-years-old Richard Appiah was exposed as a serial killer on Friday night when the dead bodies of his nephew and other people he has killed were uncovered in his room.

Before the 12-year-old nephew was found in the room, he denied knowledge of the whereabouts of the kid despite the fact that he was last seen with him before he went missing.

The vigilance of the area boys and his mother led them to discover the lifeless body of the missing nephew in a locked room in his house. The dismembered bodies of other people he had killed were found in his refrigerator.

Some of the town folks who spoke to Ark Fm reporters said Richard Appiah is a quiet guy who rarely talks to people.
