Entertainment pundit and media personality Ola Michael has reacted to veteran film producer Socrate Safo’s claims of neglect by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
During a Peace FM interview, Socrates Safo voiced disappointment about not receiving acknowledgement for his party contributions, despite his unwavering support and campaigning endeavours.
During a studio discussion on Neat FM, Ola Michael disputed Socrates Safo’s claims by stating that he has truly gained advantages from his affiliation with the NPP.
“He can’t say he hasn’t benefitted. I double-dare him to come and say he isn’t ok.
“He has gotten positions under the NPP and at the National Commission on Culture and National Film Authority, and he even has a position with the body that handles the Beyond the Return programme,” he said.
Ola Michael highlighted some of the roles currently held by Socrates Safo, stating that the film producer has been recognized and given great opportunities.
“Socrates doesn’t have anything to say, He’s not going through anything, he’s ok. Maybe he was speaking for some people who haven’t benefitted from the NPP,” he said.
