THE YOUTH COMPLAINING ABOUT UNEMPLOYMENT IN GHANA ARE LAZY – Actress Beverly Afaglo

Popular Ghanaian actress and businesswoman Beverly Afaglo has voiced her concern over the work ethics of the country’s youth.

She added her voice to a rising number of business owners who have bemoaned the lax approach to work among young Ghanaians.

Social media users, however, have criticized business owners who stereotype Ghanaian youth as lethargic, claiming that such stereotypes are unjust and counterproductive.

But in an exclusive interview with Zionfelix, Beverly Afaglo brazenly labeled young people in Ghana as entitled and lazy.

Beverly Afaglo claims that many of her staff members lack good work ethics and routinely want wage increases without putting in the necessary effort.

She added that it can be challenging to manage a business in Ghana because it is laborious to locate dedicated employees and there is a possibility of sabotage.

On social media, some users attacked her comments, while others agreed with her evaluation.

Beverly Afaglo ascribed the young of Ghana’s idleness to their exaggerated hopes and lack of prior experience.

She also mentioned how many young individuals leave their professions right away after feeling the strain of the workplace.

The owner of a shawarma restaurant remarked;

“It’s not easy running a business in Ghana, people will sabotage you, and getting workers is tough. People are always crying on social media about employment. It is all a lie because they don’t need any job. They are just lazy. she stated.

“The youths are lazy because they think that once you are born, you start walking…It is a process but without any experience, they expect so much… we consider transportation and all that but the people after experiencing the pressure at work are quick to quit after two week, .riders can stress you”
