Shatta Wale has revealed that the Ghana Revenue Authority are on his neck like a thief for not paying his taxes.
Wale in a post on Facebook has revealed that he’s being chased down by the Authority to pay his taxes.
The dancehall star made the revelation following a claim from GHAMRO boss Rex Omar that Wale has Ghc 30,000 royalties with the organization.
According to Rex, all Wale has to do is come with his manager and get the money.
“Shatta Wale’s money with GHAMRO is over Ghc 30,000. We’re only waiting for his management to bring us his account details so that the money will be paid into his account,” Omar revealed on GTV’s breakfast show.
After seeing the post, Wale revealed that he’s being chased by the Ghana Revenue Authority and plans to use the Ghc 30,000 to pay those taxes.
“Pls Ghamro I don’t have management oo, I am my own management pls don’t let anybody come take my money in the name of Shatta wale,” he wrote.
Wale added: “I will use it to pay my TAX cuz the way GRA is on my neck like a thief I haven’t seen some before !!! I am using all this money to file my tax cuz I can’t bare the pressure anymore from them.
“Show them this and let them know, this what my music has brought me for the past years so they will stop pressuring my life. There is no money in our industry and the little we make too the system takes it. Thank you GHAMRO for this transparency!!”
