Ghanaian musician, Martin King Arthur, also known as Kofi Kinaata, the multi-award-winning singer, moved Ghanaians to tears during a thanksgiving performance at a burial.
Kofi Kinaata, the four-time VGMA Songwriter of the Year winner, in a video sighted on social media left his audience in tears following a heartfelt breakdown at a recent concert.
At the funeral’s thanksgiving, Kinaata wowed attendees with a live band performance of his songs, including his hit song, Thy Grace, which had guests singing along word for word.
Some ecstatic audience members were photographing the performance while enthusiastically singing along with the artist, causing the artist to grow emotional.
It wasn’t long before tears welled up in his eyes as he reflected on the massive outpouring of love that had interrupted his performance. Before being taken to his seat, he was consoled by visitors.
The video was shared by a fan with the handle @_MukadasMaestro on Twitter who captioned saying:
“Kofi Kinaata crying whiles singing his own song. Sweetest video I’ve even seen. Good music is like a bullet.”
