Prolific Ghanaian gospel musician Michael Oware Sakyi better known as Minister OJ has intimated that most of his colleagues don’t feature him because they are afraid he is going to subdue them with his writing style.

According to Minister OJ in an exclusive interview with Hammer Nti on Kumasi-based Pure FM, most artists don’t like the fact that he usually writes about his real-life’s experiences but does not center his lyrics on the gospel of Jesus.

He expressed that he hardly receives requests from his colleague musicians for collaborations for fear of being exposed.

He said, “I hardly receive requests for collaboration because if you bring the song, I will also write my own and when I do that there is the likelihood that mine will be better than theirs and that will create trouble”.

He added that “Some fear from afar but I think I have had few features with Nancee, Joe Mettle, and Emillia Arthur”
