Celebrated Ghanaian Gospel singer, Obaapa Christy, has shared how she copes with life’s challenges.
Obaapa Christy gained notoriety after her ex-husband Pastor Love publicly charged that she had denied him visitation rights following their divorce.
The award-winning singer admitted that she has experienced a number of difficulties in her life, but she has learned to give God all the conflicts she faces.
Obaapa Christy said that she had learned not to engage others in a confrontation in order to win her own battles.
The public has also been advised by Obaapa Christy to learn to give God their worries and to have faith in God, trusting that God will see them through the difficulties.
“Growing up, my mothers always called on God in times of trouble. There was no other name but God. I have also entirely relied on that name”.
“One thing about me, I don’t like ‘plenty talks’. When you always react to issues, you will be at fault. If care is not taken, you will make a mistake, so don’t talk. Keep quiet, just keep quiet,” she advised on Emelia Brobbey’s Okukuseku The Talk Show.
“Allow God to fight your battle. When you let go, He will give you victory…I don’t focus on the past. I know greater things lie ahead,” she added.
