Renowned singer Albert Apoozore, also referred to as King Ayisoba, has shared his motivations for choosing not to marry any more people.
He claims that he is now content with the amount of children he has at this point in his life. He is married to two women who have given birth to seven children between them.
He declared that he did not want to be married to more people because it would mean having more children, which would mean having to provide more financial support for them.
King Ayisoba said that he does not want to be under pressure to work harder than necessary at his age in order to pay for additional costs related to raising the children.
“I have two wives with seven children. I don’t intend to marry again because the more we grow the more the school fees increase so it’s not easy. At my age, I don’t want too much pressure so I want to maintain myself like this,” he told Blakk Rasta during the UrbanBlend show aired on 3FM and monitored by GhanaWeb.
