“I DROVE TO MY EX’S NEIGHBORHOOD JUST TO FLAUNT MY FIRST CAR” – Kuami Eugene Reveals

Ghanaian music star Kuami Eugene has opened up about a playful and slightly mischievous moment from the early days of his success. In a candid interview on Joy Prime, the hitmaker shared how he celebrated purchasing his first car, using it as a chance to subtly show off to someone from his past.

According to the singer, whose real name is Eugene Kwame Marfo, the first thing he did after acquiring his new car was to visit his mother in Fadama, expressing gratitude for her support after he had moved out to pursue his music career with Lynx Entertainment.

“The funny thing is, after purchasing my first car, the first place I drove to was to inform my mom in Fadama. I went home and showed her the car, and she was excited,” Kuami Eugene recalled.

However, he didn’t stop there. Driven by a youthful urge to “flex,” Eugene confessed that he couldn’t resist making a detour to his ex-girlfriend’s neighborhood in Darkuman, where her mother operated a salon.

“I told my mom to wait for me. Her (my ex’s) mom had a salon at Darkuman, so I drove straight there just to blow the horn and cause a little commotion. She wasn’t around, but I met her mom,” he admitted, laughing.

Reflecting on the incident, Kuami Eugene used the story to highlight a deeper message about patience and belief in the people we love: “I’ve always remembered that moment, even though we had both moved on. Sometimes people should just give their partners time, because they can surprise you with how far they’ll go,” he concluded.

The humorous confession has resonated with fans, serving as both a lighthearted anecdote and a reminder of the value of patience and faith in one another’s dreams.
