Ghanaian musician, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda popularly known as Mzvee said in a recent interview that she has proven her deprecators who think she will not succeed after her exit from Lynx Entertainment wrong.
On the 11th of September, 2019, MzVee officially segregated from the Lynx Entertainment record label after working with them for eight years which she released many good hits.
After parting from her former record label, many thought she won’t be able to come back, and even if she does, her recovery will be weak. One of those who thought so is blogger George Britton.
However, in an exclusive interview with Amasaman Krakye, MzVee said her success after leaving Lynx has proven her critics wrong and that success is a gradual process.
Here is what she actually said,
“Oh, I’ve absolutely proven my detractors wrong, I mean, people have to learn to be patient.”
“I left Lynx and you want me to do what in a year, so everything is a slow process and I’m a really patient person.”
“I knew this day would come and people would realize how much work I put into my art, so I wasn’t scared at all at first,” she explained on Kastle FM.
According to media personality and artiste manager George Britton, MzVee’s comeback into the music industry was weak which is why she is not being supported by many Ghanaians. This was MzVee’s remarks to that;
“When I heard those harsh remarks, I wasn’t scared since there were a lot of positive ones, so I concentrated on that and kept doing what I had to do,” she said.
