Mr. Jacob Partey, the father of Arsenal and Black Stars influential midfielder Thomas Partey has recounted how he engaged his son on the phone before their epic clash against Nigeria last Tuesday in Abuja.

The match ended 1-1 but Ghana advanced to the World Cup to be staged in Qatar courtesy of a thunderous shot from Thomas Partey in the 11th minute which squirmed under the body of the keeper Francis Uzoho.
