I WAS EXPECTING KIDI OR BLACK SHERIF TO BE NOMINATED AT THIS YEAR’S BET – Dj Ashmen

The nominees for this year’s Black Entertainment Television Awards are in, and Ghana, as usual, is left out with no nominations.

Wizkid, Tems, and Fireboy received nominations from the Nigerian music industry.

However, there have been several reactions, with Ghanaian DJ Dj Ashmen expressing his disappointment in the nominations.

According to him, he was expecting the VGMA Artiste of the Year, KiDi and the ‘Kwaku The Traveller’, Black Sherif to be nominated at this year’s BET.

Taking to Facebook, he wrote:

“Honestly I was expecting Kidi or Black Sherif to be nominated for Best International Act at this years BET”
