Sensational Ghanaian Rapper and singer, Kwesi Arthur has disclosed plans in doing a collaboration with Canadian-born rapper and Grammy award-winner, Drake, as he reveals it is a dream he believes will become a reality.
Kwesi Arthur who has been recognized by BET over the past years stated in an interview on Neat 100.9FM that “before I started writing music, Drake was my biggest inspiration”.
Although the rapper hasn’t taken the initiative to collaborate with Drake, he believes it’s a gradual process and added that he admired the way the Canadian rapper expressed his life stories in his lyrics so he decided to take inspiration from him.
“Definitely, we will work on something soon,” Kwesi confidently said.
According to Kwesi, he has plans to work with some Ghanaian high-lifers like Kojo Antwi and Amakye Dede.
The ‘Grind Day’ hitmaker also threw light on the subsequent release of his first album in 2021 after over three years of music.
He holds it firm that, releasing an album is not a rush. “Son of Jacob is coming out“ Kwesi said.
