President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo wished the Black Stars well ahead of their World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles.
On Friday night, Ghana and Nigeria played out a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The Black Stars will qualify for their fourth World Cup after 2006, 2010 and 2014.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo wished the team well and said the Black Stars performed well in the first leg during his 28th televised address to the nation.
“I wish the Black Stars, who gave a good account of themselves in Kumasi, the best of luck in Abuja on Tuesday,” he said.
The return leg of the World Cup qualifier will be played on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in Abuja.
