Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central Constituency, Kwame A Plus has cautioned African leaders that the youth will forcefully remove them if they do not meet their expectations.
A Plus commented on the inauguration of President John Dramani Mahama and highlighted the boisterous reception that Burkina Faso’s President, Ibrahim Traore, got from the crowd.
As stated by A Plus, Traore’s reception demonstrates the perspective of today’s youth regarding governance.
He highlighted that the majority of democratic leaders were not greeted with a large welcome while the so-called autocratic leader was celebrated.
A Plus cautioned that if other African leaders fail to mirror the leadership and accountability exemplified by a military figure like Traore, they risk being overthrown by the youth who possess a differing perspective on democracy.
