Sammy Flex, a broadcaster and Shatta Wale manager has stated that he would be happy to have Stonebwoy join his media network.
He said that he had spoken with Stonebwoy a few years prior when he was working at Zylofon FM.
Sammy made it clear that he does not currently have any problems with the dancehall singer during an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Showbiz A-Z.
“The last time I had an encounter with Stonebwoy was when I was at Zylofon FM, when I interviewed him,” he said.
When asked if Sammy Flex had made an effort to interview Stonebwoy for his show during their time at Zylofon, he gave a negative response.
“With the top artistes in Ghana, take it or leave it, there is stiff competition among them. So now knowing my position as a manager of Shatta Wale and knowing that stiff competition between them, would he throw himself into this game? You understand?”
“Due to my position, people may assume I have access to classified information about various individuals, including him. If he agrees to an interview, he may be uncertain about the outcome, but I maintain my journalistic integrity. I’ve interviewed artists regularly, whether on Sammy Flex or Class TV. If he’s willing, why not?
When questioned about whether his new position as an artist management interferes with his journalism work, Sammy gave his assurance that he is able to strike a balance.
