I’M NOT ARROGANT; I SPEAK THE TRUTH – Kennedy Agyapong

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and member of parliament for Assin Central, has voiced his concern about the propensity to characterize people who tell the truth as haughty.

He brought up this subject during a Face to Face interview on Citi TV.

Agyapong made the observation that people in Ghana frequently hold back on speaking the truth out of concern that they will be branded as conceited or offensive. He thinks that many people are deterred from directly discussing pressing concerns by this unfair categorization.

He continued by saying that because he frequently mimics the tone and content of other people’s activities, his comments and replies are frequently impacted by theirs.

He stated his annoyance that, despite the fact that his response is regarded as a reaction to the accusations and insults leveled at him, he occasionally receives criticism for doing so.

Agyapong underlined the significance of confidence, boldness, honesty, sincerity, and discipline in order to support the growth of the nation.

He justified his own strategy by saying that any criticism of his actions was well outweighed by his beneficial contributions.
