The singer Lasmid Owusu Nathaniel, also known by his stage name Lasmid, has proclaimed himself to be the biggest artist in Ghana right now.
The young man claimed to be in fronts of well-known and enduring artists like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and others while being hosted in Accra’s studios.
He said that his approach is distinctive and that this has made him popular since his songs have dominated digital streaming platforms, albeit he made no specific reference of anyone by name.
The “Friday Night” singer claimed that his claim was not intended to denigrate anyone, but given his quick ascension in the business, he feels he has earned the right to have that bragging privilege
