MAHAMA AND HIS WIFE STOOD IN THE GAP FOR ME WHEN I LOST EVERYTHING – Empress Gifty Speaks

Despite being a member of the governing New Patriotic Party, Empress Gifty has received accolades for her effusive appreciation of former president John Dramani Mahama and his wife on the occasion of their 30th wedding anniversary (NPP).

Gifty, who is married to former Kpong Katamanso NPP MP and current Director of Operationas – Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots, Inc. Hopeson Adorye, paid tribute to the pair and recalled how they supported her when she lost everything.

Empress Gifty claimed that the reason she refers to them as her parents is because they supported her when no one else could.

In her words: “I want to celebrate MY PARENTS, I have my reasons for calling them, MY PARENTS. They stood in the gap for me when I lost everything. First Lady, Lordina Mahama was there for me as a MOTHER and made sure I was okay. Former President @officialjdmahama stood by me as a FATHER.

I will never forget what they did for me. I celebrate you today on your 30th marriage anniversary, it is not a small journey and I tap into this blessing.
