I’VE SOLD MY MANSION, I NOW LEAVE IN AN APARTMENT – Dr. Kofi Amoabeng Reveals

Dr. Kofi Amoabeng, the founder of the now-defunct UT Bank, has revealed that he has sold his magnificent mansion and now resides in an apartment.

He was a founding member of UT Bank, which failed in 2017 as a result of Ghana’s banking crisis and claims that he had embezzled money from the institution.
Following the collapse of his bank in 2017, Dr. Kofi Amoabeng revealed his new way of life. The businessman claims that life is wearing him down.

Kofi Amoabeng has said that in order to pay off his debts and get his life back on track, he had to sell his pricey Range Rover, opulent residence, and other enterprises.

The businessman revealed that he now leads a simple life and just owns a shoe and a watch in an interview with TV3.

After the bank crisis, the businessman has amassed considerable wealth and valuables, but Mr. Amoabeng expressed optimism about the future because, despite suffering a significant financial loss, he continues to drive an Audi with a V8 engine.

He said;

“I have one watch, I have one shoe so I don’t need much money. I don’t have to have a lot of money to enjoy life…I don’t drive Range Rover any more, I drive a Lexus…I had to sell it (mansion) to organize myself not to get broke,”.
