Ghanaian actor and producer, Prince David Osei has appealed to the newly appointed Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyabeng to expedite the process of prosecutions.
In a recent post he made on his verified Instagram page, Prince David Osei hailed him for the work he has done so far since assuming office.
He pointed to the fact that the prison gates have been widely opened by the Inspector General of Police, George Akufo Dampare following the remand of Ghanaian celebrities like, Shatta Wale, and Medikal and Funny Face including religious leaders like Prophet Akwasi Appiah, aka Jesus Ahuofe who spent days in police custody before their release.
Therefore, he suggests the same is applied to politicians, lawmakers, and government officials who misappropriate and chop state money.
According to the actor, if our leaders are put behind bars when found culpable of crimes, then we will all agree that no one is truly above the law and that we are all equal before the laws of Ghana.
