OB Amponsah, a comedian who has won awards, believes President John Mahama has the power to stop galamsey in just a week if he decides to take action.
He expressed this opinion in a Facebook post, where he brought up a past tweet by Sam George.
He wrote;
“John Mahama could end Galamsey in a week if he wanted to. This Government has been useless in fighting Galamsey so far.”
Before the 2024 general elections, Sam George tweeted that Nana Addo also had the ability to end galamsey within a week.
OB Amponsah thinks the government has not been effective in dealing with the issue of galamsey up to this point.
