JULY 1 WILL BE MADE A PUBLIC HOLIDAY – President John Mahama Assures Ghanaians

President John Dramani Mahama has stated that his administration will soon present to parliament the holiday amendment act to designate July 1 as a holiday.

The President has suggested that July 1 be designated as the National Day for prayer and thanksgiving, allowing the nation to honor the Lord and express gratitude for His blessings.

Besides these holidays, the President states the amendment will also add an additional day for Muslims following their Eid Al Adhar festivities.

The President announced this while speaking to the residents of the western region during his gratitude tour in that area.
