Award-winning singer, King Promise has reacted to Criss Waddle’s outburst on social media castigating him for not showing up at his concert but attended Gyakie’s show.
Rapper Medikal and dancehall artist Shatta Wale attended a free concert by Criss Waddle that was hosted on Saturday, December 17, at Tema’s Greens Lounge.
It appeared that Criss Waddle anticipated that his friends King Promise and R2Bees would attend the event, however they were later spotted at Gyakie’s concert.
Criss Waddle noted in a series of Snapchat posts that he believed the two musicians, R2Bees and King Promise, would skip his event because of their close relationship.
He added that he had to stop playing merely to wait for the famed Ghanaian music group, but they did not recognize him.
During an interview on Hitz FM, in response to the allegations, King Promise said he was not invited and even if he was, he was busily engaged in another activity elsewhere.
He said, “I wasn’t invited to @CrissWaddle‘s concert. Even if I was, I had other engagements. But I heard the event went well and I am happy it did. –@IamKingPromise#DaybreakHitz“.
