Television presenter, Kwaku Annan of Net 2 TV has dropped a list of top police officers who double as armed robbers or have connections with robbers as regards the bullion van robberies in the country.
In a no-holds-barred programme aired on Net 2, the fearless on-air personality mentioned that some Ghanaian police officers are friends with the criminals which makes it impossible for them to be arrested.
He then said most of these officers converge at Kwabenya on Saturdays where they display their exotic and expensive cars as well as their firearms.
In a previous report concerning this trending story, two of the officers who were mentioned in the wrongdoing have been shot dead.
They were reportedly shot during a raid at Borteyman near Ashaiman on Tuesday (March 8, 2022).
The two have been identified as Constable Reindolph Gyimah Ansah and No. 53549 Lance Corporal Stephen Kwaku Nyame.
