Percival Kofi Akpaloo, torch bearer of the Liberal Party of Ghana(LPG) has alleged that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition party National Democratic Congress (NDC) are only interested in power in order to loot the country.
In an interview with Kingdom Fm, as reported by MyNewsGh.com, Kofi Akpaloo remarked that the NDC and NPP lack a solid strategy to govern the nation and ensure prosperity for the people.
He revealed that when issues arise in the country, these two parties avoid tackling them, claiming they could lose votes if they take action.
Mr. Akpaloo claims that the primary concern of the NPP and NDC is the financial profits they will receive upon assuming power, rather than the well-being of the citizens.
The Presidential Aspirant stated that Ghana is likely to become a two-party state shortly, but stressed that change is imminent since Ghanaians are now more informed and may soon dismiss the NDC and NPP.
“These two parties don’t know why they are coming into power. They don’t have a plan. They just implement anything they think of when they come into power. The only thing they know is coming into power to loot and get money for their personal gains”, Mr Akpaloo said.
