Contentious cleric, Prophet Kumchacha, has launched his political campaign and pledged to release all of MenzGold’s locked-up assets for irate clients.
The majority of MenzGold’s disgruntled clients have not yet received the money they put in the company, which has been locked up since Chief Executive Officer Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM 1)’s accounts and business were closed.
If Prophet Kumchacha is elected president following the general elections in 2024, he has vowed to have NAM 1 jailed. Some Ghanaians have been making fun of the man of God’s political aspirations since he announced them, but it appears that Kumchacha is unmoved by the jeers as his political fliers have been spotted on social media.
Kumchacha blasted Akuffo Addo and his ruling government for neglecting to bring charges against NAM 1 even after he was brought to court in an interview with Ghpage.
He claimed that the first thing he will do if he wins the election is to outlaw two years’ worth of rent in advance since it forces young people who are attempting to become independent to give landlords a sizable sum of money up front.
