The authorities are being implored by American rapper Meek Mill to free the person who recently stole his phone.
Just a few hours after arriving in Ghana, Meek Mill’s iPhone 14 Pro Max was stolen, causing him to spiral out of control. He bemoaned the theft of his phone on his Instagram story.
Yesterday evening, the Ghanaian police revealed that a suspect had been detained and a phone that belonged to American hip-hop artist Meek Mill had been recovered.
The culprit, Nuhu Sule alias Ababaawa, was apprehended at his hiding place in Accra. He is currently in police custody and will follow the legal procedure as it is intended.
Following the announcement of the offender’s arrest, Meek Mill took to his page to express his confusion over how his phone went stolen and his belief that the offender ought to be released.
He tweeted, “I coulda dropped that phone on a dirt bike I don’t actually know for a fact somebody went in my pocket! I got it back that’s all I needed I don’t need anybody locked up for a phone.., I don’t even know what happened to it”.
