Social media mogul and CEO of Facebook – Mark Zuckerberg who is currently in Nigeria on a working visit has interacted with movie stars and stakeholders in Nollywood.

The Facebook founder, met with Nigeria’s top celebrities on Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

Mark Zuckerberg attended a Facebook Event at the Naija Talent Lounge in Lagos. He also met developers and entrepreneurs in Lagos to discussion how advanced technology and social media can be used to impact positively on society.

This is Mark Zuckerberg’s my first  trip to sub-Saharan Africa and his trip is to learn about the startup ecosystem in Nigeria.

Popular faces spotted with the businessman includes, Rita Dominic, RMD, Kunle Afolayan, Yemi Alade, DJ Cuppy, Yemi Alade, Chidinma, Toolz Oniru-Demuren and Comedian Basket Mouth  were also present.

When Mark met the Hollywood shareholders he discussed how his various multi-billion dollar social media platforms can be used to distribute content (movies, music, videos, arts etc.) to maximize profit and control piracy.
