“PRACTICALLY, MARRIAGE IS NOT BENEFICIAL TO MEN” – Media Personality, Kojo Yankson

Renowned news anchor, Kojo Yankson has joined the debate on the subject of married life.

Yankson boldly refuted the popular belief that marriage is largely advantageous to men.

Yankson asserts that men’s financial benefits from marriage are questionable at best.

He made the case that, practically speaking, it’s hard to measure how much marriage advantages males above what it does for women.

“If I am being practical and I’m assessing things based on a simple cost benefit cases, it is hard to see how marriage benefits a man  especially if you are comparing it to how its benefits a woman,” Kojo Yankson stated.

Yankson continued by raising concerns about the particular benefits or advantages married men have over unmarried men.
He challenged his audience, asking, “What are the things a married man can do or possess that a single man cannot? Name just one, and I’ll concede my point.”

His remarks have highlighted the changing conversation on relationships and gender roles in contemporary culture by sparking a discussion about traditional beliefs on marriage and its alleged benefits for men.
