The National Democratic Congress (NDC) vice-presidential candidate, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, will embark on a campaign tour of the Upper West Region on Tuesday.
It follows her recent campaign tours in northern Ghana to bolster support for the NDC’s presidential candidate, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, and the party’s parliamentary candidates in anticipation of the December 7, 2024 elections.
During her two-day campaign tour of the Upper West Region, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will convey the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) key campaign messages to voters in constituencies including Wa Central, Lambussie, Nandom, Lawra, and Sissala.
She will conclude her tour of the Upper West Region on Wednesday and then proceed to the Northern Region on Thursday to commence a campaign tour of that area.
Last week, Professor Opoku-Agyemang campaigned in the North East and Savannah Regions. She urged voters to support Mr. Mahama to enable him to address the issues created by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration, improve education, create jobs, and financially empower women.
