Prophet Emmanuel Akwasi Boakye, popularly known as Prophet Ogyaba, has been embroiled in a heated online exchange with his alleged former side chick, identified as Cassie. The dispute has sparked widespread reactions on social media following explosive claims made by Cassie in a live video on January 26, 2025.
Cassie alleged that the founder of “Ogyaba’s Palace” had threatened her life after she vowed to expose him. According to her, their secret relationship brought significant turmoil to her life, leaving her grappling with depression and spiritual battles.
“For over six months, it has been a bed of sorrows, fighting depression and battles beyond the physical realms,” she stated in the video. “Not everyone who mentions the name of Jesus comes from Jesus. Some are devils pretending to be prophets. They lure you in, destroy you, and use you for rituals. In my search for spiritual salvation, I encountered a demon in the form of a prophet. He took everything from me—my life and freedom,” Cassie added, alleging she had been manipulated through charms and fear.
She also claimed that she is not the only victim of Prophet Ogyaba’s alleged actions, but she is grateful to have survived the ordeal.
Prophet Ogyaba responds
In a video response, Prophet Ogyaba acknowledged having an affair with Cassie, admitting their romantic involvement. “I accept the allegations. I have had an affair with her before. I am not made of wood, so yes, I’ve been with her. Since she has decided to tarnish my image, I’ll reply in kind. I’ll go on a T-shirt and billboard campaign to tarnish her image as well,” he declared.
Cassie, in turn, shared more details about their relationship, explaining how it started. She claimed they first met at the airport, where Ogyaba took her number. Their conversations led to him sending her 8,000 cedis after learning she was planning to buy a new fridge.
“He expressed interest in me when I told him I was single and looking for a husband. On his birthday, I surprised him at the airport, but he asked me to bring the gift to his house. When I did, he invited me into his room and tried to sleep with me,” she recounted.
The public nature of the feud has drawn mixed reactions online, with many expressing shock over the allegations and the prophet’s admission.
