According to reports, the famous 2Toff rapper Red Eye is losing his mind and has been admitted to a rehab facility by the late music producer Hammer of the Last 2 Group.
A video showing Hammer conversing with several rehab patients and informing them that he had brought Red Eye to the institution to seek help was posted online by Ghanaweekend.
Hammer revealed that the gifted rapper and sound engineer used tobacco and marijuana, specifically, which got out of hand and impair his mental skills.
Hammer took use of the opportunity while they were still in the facility to counsel everyone to abandon the rehabilitation schedule that had been assigned to them and to start living their lives as soon as they recovered and left the facility.
The famous producer who nurtured and groomed mainstream rappers like Sarkodie, Edem, Tinny, Kwaw Kese and a host of others revealed how he found out about Red Eye’s predicament and followed it up.
“A week ago, somebody put out a distressing post on Facebook for a call to action on Red Eye from 2Toff about him being in a bad place and if care wasn’t taken, he would end up in a ditch. It was alarming, so some of us took up the task to find him. We ended up finding him near the fishing harbour at Tema New Town, and we ambushed him and finally got him into a rehab [centre] in Achimota,” he said.
